CASHIER CLERK

As the Cashier Clerk, you will receive funds from customers and employees.  You may disburse funds, record monetary transactions, and/or issue receipts for funds received. You may perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, data entry, general inventory duties, etc.

Position Responsibilities

  • Account for money collected daily from assigned routes.\
  • Post any discrepancies in invoice totals compared to cash collected.
  •  Assist other cashiers in completing daily tasks.
  • Collect and record all payments received.
  • Use of counting and coin machine.
  • Prepare bank deposit slips and other necessary paperwork
  • Identify and record problems for supervisor to review

Requirements

  • High school diploma (Baccalaureate/GCE A Level) preferred
  • 2 years’ experience with Ten key by touch
  • 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • 2 years cashier/cash handling experience
  • Lift approximately 30-50lbs
