The Idenau operation is a state-of-the-art bottling facility along with a full water distribution center. The site operation function on the foundational principles of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance); principles of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma; and the power of High-Performance Teams. All associates at the Idenau site will have specific accountability and ownership to the site operations and to their respective functional business operation. The site run on state-of-the-art enterprise information technology systems and manufacturing execution systems; and with highly automated processing equipment, packaging equipment, and material movement equipment; and very standardized lean processes.
Production Planner
The successful candidate will support and help lead the efforts of the Planning team in meeting business objectives and exceeding customer service expectations. This position will be responsible for building the short and long-term production plan for the facility that reflects the demand plan. To include planning production schedules, purchasing raw materials, ensuring raw materials arrive in time for production.

Balancing working capital and customer fill rate to meet annual American Beverage Company’s goal.

Responsibilities:
Performs duties with a safety-first approach
Ensures work areas are always clean and organized Develop and maintain
Production-planning models, which include materials, resources, shift configurations, and the like.
Establish a balanced and achievable rolling master production schedule in SAP, analyze short/mid-range forecasts vs. capacities to identify and prevent service problems.
Monitor inventory alerts to identify potential inventory problems through all planning horizons and coordinate efforts to resolve
Maintain product and material availability within predetermined safety stock settings.
Communicate any issues related to stock availability to all appropriate parties.
Ensure product has desired freshness. Minimize “aged” inventory and product obsolescence.
Ensure that production and materials planning processes are consistent with American Beverage Company policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as requested by management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3 years of Supply Chain, Production Planning, or Scheduling experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
3 years of experience with automated management systems (SAP or ERP systems).
Microsoft Excel proficiency required.
Prior experience with SAP or similar ERP system
